The One Ring is handcrafted by the skilled team at the Jens Hansen jewellery workshop in Nelson, New Zealand (Middle-earth). Jens Hansen was famed by many as the father of modern New Zealand jewellery and was well known for pushing the boundaries of what could be done with rings. This reputation as a brilliant ringmaker was one of the main reasons he was approached to make the One Ring for the movies.
Today Halfdan Hansen continues his father's legacy, working in the very same Nelson workshop, crafting the highest quality jewellery.
My father Jens Hansen knew and loved J.R.R. Tolkien’s books, and was very excited when he heard the movies were going to be filmed in New Zealand. Then came a phone call asking if he would make The One Ring. He was thrilled and honoured, as we are to have created the world's most authentic One Ring replica exclusively for Weta, and for you.
The ONE Ring is made to order in 18 carat gold. It can be ordered as an exact movie replica without inscriptions, or with the elvish inscriptions on both the interior and exterior of the ring, as designed by the original Weta artists.
The sterling silver chain is 65cm long, as worn by Frodo, with the same clasp design, as per the original.
The One Ring without inscriptions carries the authenticity hallmark of New Line Cinema, while the One Ring with elvish inscriptions carries the quality and authenticity hallmarks of Jens Hansen, Weta and New Line Cinema. It comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Halfdan Hansen.

The ONE Ring - 18K Solid Gold is available in a wide range of sizes. Click here to find your size. We cannot accept returns based on wrong size ordered, so we recommend double-checking all measurements.

Ring sizes larger than 13 may be subject to an additional charge for materials. We will confirm this before we take any payments.

- The One Ring will be made to order, therefore we do require a non-refundable deposit of US$500 - we will send you a secure link to make the payment.

Freight costs vary according to destination. Your ring will be shipped directly from Weta in Wellington, New Zealand. Any Import Duties and Taxes due are the responsibility of the Purchaser.
As this is a made-to-order item, there are no Weta Dollars available for this item, nor can Weta Dollars be used to purchase it.
